Abraham Oni · Managing Principal, Innovating Chaos · Transformation Strategist & Techpreneur

I build the human layer that makes ambitious systems work.

I am the Managing Principal of Innovating Chaos and the builder behind ViraSummit, MindHabit and Reawakened — products designed to help people, teams and communities move from complexity to clarity.

Most systems do not fail because the technology is missing. They fail where people meet it.
The conviction behind the work

Technology is only as strong as the human experience around it.

Across more than twenty years I have worked where strategy, technology, operations and real human behaviour collide. Across complex transformation programmes and independently built products, the same pattern keeps appearing: the platform can be technically sound and still leave people confused, excluded or unsupported.

I call that point of failure the human layer. It includes the decisions people need to make, the trust they need to feel, the workflows they must follow and the support that keeps them moving.

Innovating Chaos exists to rebuild that layer — turning fragmented problems into useful products, clear operating systems and experiences people can actually adopt.

Building now

Three ventures. One consistent idea.

Each platform serves a different audience, but they share the same design principle: start with the person, remove needless friction and use technology to create clarity, dignity and momentum.

Growth platform01

ViraSummit — events should create momentum, not more admin.

An AI-powered event management platform helping organisations create, manage and grow professional conferences, summits and community experiences in one connected environment.

Designed for organisers who need serious infrastructure without stitching together a maze of disconnected tools.

Mission-led02

MindHabit — support should meet young people where life happens.

A youth-centred mental wellbeing platform bringing guided check-ins, calming tools, journalling and an always-available companion into one private, approachable experience.

The heart of the portfolio: technology built with safety, dignity and the next generation in mind.

Faith & formation03

Reawakened — faith should grow beyond a moment.

A digital revival and discipleship ecosystem designed to support consistent rhythms of devotion, prayer, Scripture, community, follow-up and mission.

It reflects one of my deepest convictions: faith and excellence belong in the same sentence.

Adult & workplace04

MindRestored

An adult and organisational wellbeing pathway for individuals, employers and partners who need accessible support, tools and guided care — design-as-care extended into workplace and EAP contexts.

Follow-up & community05

The Life Hub

A follow-up, care and discipleship platform connecting onboarding, groups, wellbeing, hand-offs and long-term engagement — reusable infrastructure, including white-label pathways.

How the work gets built

I do not build any of this alone.

Independent is not the same as solo. Every platform runs with a cross-functional team — product, design, engineering, delivery and specialist advisors — assembled around the problem rather than around an org chart.

Four colleagues gathered around a laptop, reviewing a product together.
01

Assembled around the problem

The shape of the team follows the shape of the work — safeguarding specialists on wellbeing, integration engineers on enterprise, community practitioners on faith.

02

Working inside client teams

Most of the transformation work happens embedded — alongside finance, operations, product and technology teams who own the system long after delivery ends.

03

Discovery done properly

Rigorous discovery, clear requirements and cross-functional alignment before anything gets built. Most failures are decided here, not in the code.

04

Governance without bureaucracy

Controlled delivery, honest reporting and an insistence that launch is not the same as adoption.

The human-layer approach

How I decide what is worth building.

The tools may change. These principles do not.

01

People before features

Start with the lived problem, not the technology available. A feature only matters when it improves a real decision, task or outcome.

02

Clarity before scale

Make the problem, promise and pathway understandable first. Scale amplifies whatever already exists — including confusion.

03

Dignity by design

Build for trust, inclusion, safety and agency. People should feel supported by a system, not reduced to a record inside it.

04

Excellence as stewardship

Faith is not a substitute for rigour. Conviction should raise the standard of the work, the care and the accountability behind it.

The journey

I did not set out to build my own practice.

I began inside complex organisations, learning what makes transformation succeed — and what quietly causes it to fail.

01

Enterprise foundations

Work across finance, ERP, payments, product, risk, governance, data and operating-model change built a disciplined understanding of complex systems.

02

The recurring gap

Again and again, the hardest problems were not purely technical. They appeared between teams, inside workflows and at the point where people were expected to adopt change.

03

The builder shift

Innovating Chaos became the platform for turning that insight into products: not commentary about change, but systems people can use.

04

The work now

Build commercially viable, mission-aware platforms that combine product thinking, operational discipline and a serious respect for the people they serve.

Experience beneath the practice

Independent does not mean untested.

The enterprise work no longer leads the story, but it remains the discipline underneath every product decision.

Transformation experience

My background spans business analysis, product ownership, finance and digital transformation, ERP and CRM, payments, governance, risk and compliance, data and enterprise operating models.

What that adds to the products

Rigorous discovery. Clear requirements. Cross-functional alignment. Controlled delivery. Governance without needless bureaucracy. And an insistence that launch is not the same as adoption.

The result: independent vision grounded by the habits required to make complex work real.

Ideas, writing & speaking

Making the thinking useful beyond the products.

Innovating Chaos is also a platform for practical ideas about systems, people and purpose.

  • Why transformation fails at the human layer

  • Independent innovation with enterprise discipline
  • Faith, excellence and responsible technology
  • Designing digital tools with the next generation's dignity in mind
Why this is personal

I do not believe the next generation should inherit tools that make them feel like data points. Leaders should not have to choose between conviction and competence. And organisations should not call a transformation successful while the people inside it remain confused, exhausted or excluded. That is the work: building systems that are technologically sound, commercially viable and deeply human.

Build what the human layer has been missing

Let's turn a serious problem into a system people can use.
